You may have seen our segments on 4WDTV but basically these gearboxes have a design flaw which cause 6 main problems, all of which are caused by towing, 4WD’ing, or carrying heavy loads (work horse).    This TowPack® gearbox & transfer addresses all 6 weaknesses which are:

1.  Jumping out of 1st Gear – fixed with CryoTuff® modified parts
2.  3rd/4th Gear hard to select or losing altogether – fixed with CryoTuff® fully splined hub
3.  Hard to select 5^th Gear or losing 5^th altogether – fixed with CryoTuff® fully splined Gear
4.  Jumping out of 5^th or noisy – fixed with CryoTuff® treated modified parts & 360 designed Bearing Retainer
5.  Jamming in 1^st, 3^rd, 4^th or 5^th gear fixed with CryoTuff® treated modified parts
6.  Loosing drive altogether – fixed with CryoTuff® treated mainshaft/coupling & modified input gear
